1. Who we are

Slab Journey is a price intelligence platform for trading card collectors. Contact: contact@slabjourney.com.

2. Data we collect

• Account data: email address and hashed password.
• Portfolio data: cards, grades, quantities, cost basis, notes.
• Analytics (optional): pageviews and feature usage via PostHog — only after consent.
• Technical logs: IP address, retained up to 30 days for security.

3. How we use your data

• To provide your portfolio and price tracking.
• To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset).
• To improve the product using anonymised analytics.
• We never sell your data to third parties.

4. Data storage

Data is stored on Supabase in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany). Analytics are processed by PostHog on EU servers.

5. Cookies

We use localStorage for sessions and preferences. Analytics are only activated after explicit consent. Withdraw consent anytime by clearing localStorage for slabjourney.com.

6. Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data. Email contact@slabjourney.com — we respond within 30 days.

7. Data retention

We retain your data while your account is active. On account deletion, all personal data is removed within 30 days.
